Extra training MAG welding
In addition to the testing we regularly conduct with our welders, we are also increasingly committed to training these welders.
If after the test it turns out that the welding level does not meet the quality expected by the customer, the welder can stay one or two days longer for extra lessons.
During the lessons, the focus is not only on practice.
Besides holding the welding torch in the correct position and maintaining the right travel speeds, correctly setting the welding machine is equally important.
For these reasons, we also delve deeper into the proper setting of the welding machine for different welding positions and plate thicknesses.
The more you understand what you are doing, the better and more beautiful welds you can make.

Such an extra day of one-on-one lessons can make the difference in whether we can place a welder or not.
A great example of this is Patricia.
She worked for Covebo in assembly but actually only wanted to work as a welder.
In Poland, she had completed a MAG welding course but had not built up any practical experience.
After a first day of level assessment, we agreed that she would come for two days of MAG welding training.
Meanwhile, Covebo Barneveld was looking for a company willing to give a novice welder a chance.

After these two days, her level had increased so much that she was immediately able to start at a company in Barneveld.
Her dream had come true!!
Of course, I went by to see how she was doing and what she had to weld.

The company was very satisfied with the quality of her welding work and is definitely willing to further train her as a construction worker and welder from here.
